  1. There is a place in Co Wexford called the Island. The Blessed Virgin was supposed to have once appeared there. On the north side of it there is a well called St Mary's Well. It is in the shape of a coffin. When Out Lady appeared there she disappeared in the form a coffin and since then the well is in the shape of a coffin. The time for the novena to Our Blessed Lady is from the 26th of July to the 6th of August. When people around get diseases they get water from the well to cure them.
