strange things that were seen and heard at the spot where she was killed.
One night a man was going home with a horse and trap. When passing this spot a girl jumped into the trap. He drew a stroke of his whip at her but he did not come in contact with anything. He then took out his rosary and told her to get out of the cart in the name of God.
Everyone was afraid to pass the spot at night. At last a curate priest from Roscrea named Fr. Halpin came to banish the Ghost.
When she was getting banished the priest got a slap on the side of his head, the next morning the hair on that side of his head was white.
    The Ghost never appeared since.
