  1. When the sky is black there is going to be rain. When the sun sets red it is a sign of fine weather and when the sun has a ring around it, there is going to be rain. When there is a ring around the moon, rain may be expected. When there are a lot of stars together in the sky there is going to be frost. When you see a rainbow in the morning it is a sign of bad weather and when there is one at night, it is going to be fine.
    The South and West wind bring rain. When sea-gulls come in on the land there is going to be a storm, and when you hear the wild geese there is going to be hardship.
