    Here I lie upon my side,
    I hope for God to be my guide,
    if any evil tempts me,
    O blessed Virgin waken me.
    There are four corners on my bed,
    There are four angels on my spread,
    Mathew, Mark, Luke and John,
    God bless the bed that I lie on.
    If I should die before I wake,
    I pray to God my soul to take
    Lord by the Branch,
    Lady by the Flower
    O sweet Jesus be with me upon
    my dying hour
    Heart of Jesus I adore Thee, Heart of Mary I implore Thee; Heart of Joseph true and just, In those Three Hearts I put my trust.
