- Hallow Eve is the last day of October. It is a pagan feast. The people do not believe in the superstitious things connected with it.
It is said that the fairies are out on that night. If you live near a fort you will hear music. It is also said that the púca is out on that night and that he puts poison on the blackberries. We do not eat them after Hallow Eve.
