  1. In February 1907 there was a big storm. It lasted one night. It blew away hay, oats, sheds, timber and knocked down houses. It knocked down a house belonging to John Nalton, Toome, and one belonging to John Shouldern Ballymulvey.
    There was a heavy thunder storm the 19th February 1908. It knocked down the spires of the Catholic Church in Ballymahon and it killed many animals.
    In 1924 there was a flood in Ireland. In certain parts the flood was five feet high. Many people were drowned.
