- There is no local tailor in my district. Tailors used to go about from house to house when they were required to make clothes. The nearest tailor lives about four or five miles from my house. He stocks cloth.
Cloth is not spun or woven locally.
The tailor uses cloth, thread, a thimble, a pair of scissors, and a needle when he is making clothes.
Socks and stockings are knitted locally. Black clothes are worn on the day that a relative is being buried.- Collector
