  1. Once upon a time there used to be dancing and singing at night in John Jordan's fort, and the people used to wonder where was the music.
One night they went out and they saw fairies dancing round the fort. They had all different clothes on them. Then that morning the old man went out and the fort was filled with cups, plates and butter. No one touched anything belonging to the fairies, because if they did everything would die about the house.
The next night the same thing happened, and then it finished after that.
