  2. One time there was a great hurling match held in Ballyroe in the Parish of Glenbrien between Coolamain and Edermine
    The goals were different towards the ones today. The match started on Saturday and lasted all day. It was said to be the roughest match that ever played.One of the teams scored and the other team began to fight. They fought for an hour or so. They had no hurls but big lumps of sticks
