    There is supposed to be gold hidden under Pat Sheridan's Castle Dungimmon, Mt. Nugent, Co; Cavan. The Danes are supposed to have placed it there for safety. There have been some attempts made to unearth it. But each time something stopped them. There is supposed to be a big black cat minding it. Some lights have been seen where it is hidden.
    It is said that John Smith went down in a cave under the castle and when he was half ways got afraid and had to return.
