  1. One night my mother told me she hear a bhéan sidhe in an old bog in Palmyra, which is 1/2 mile to east of Cross. My mother went out and she saw a little woman with long gray hair hanging to her heels. She was dressed in black. After a few days my mother got a letter saying her Aunt was dead.
The bhéan sidhe come for death. People say that they see a fairy light every night in Palmyra. They call it the Palmyra coach.
