    One night long long ago a poor girl was coming home from her visit to a friend just as she was pass Mullagh lake the "good-people" came to her and brought her down under the lake where the old people say the old town of Mullagh is. She was kept there for many years and the day before the good-people let her home they told her not to tell parents where she was or nothing, anything about her voyage, but the poor girl forgot what the good-folk said and she did tell.
