    The Delmegers of Castlepark ,Limerick ,were Landlords of a stretch of land running across the face of the mountain from Glenagruss (Windy Gap)to Ballyfinnan close to Ardnacrusha.

    Lord Leckenfield was landlord of a few farms in the parish .he seems to have built the houses for the tenants.
