- There are differant kinds of birds, the bulfinch, linnet, sparrow yellow hammer and gold-finch. We keep a gold-finch at home. It is a small bird with gold coloured feathers, a red head and two black spots on the side of her tail. It is fed with bird-seed, black heads and water and it sings all day.
There are also game birds the plover, pheasant, grouse and wood cock, and the "Crane Fada."
The plover is a golden bird. It goes to the mountains in Summer and brings out four young ones. The "Crane Fada" makes its nest on the top of a high(continues on next page)- Collector
