  1. The people usually ate three meals a day long ago. The food used long ago was, black tea and black bread for breakfast, potatoes and milk for dinner and stirabout for supper and sometimes potatoes. The breakfast was eaten at nine o'clock, the dinner at half past three and the supper at half past seven. The milk that was drank by the people in olden days was called sheeps milk and goats milk. The people had no other milk but an old man had a cow.
