- There was a man named Paddy who lived in Cordarragh. He used to put a pot of potatoes down on the fire and when they would be half boiled he would put a fish in on top of them. When they were boiled he pounded fish and potatoes up together and he had a wooden spoon. He eat up all with the wooden spoon. He got a crowd of lads to thrash the oats. He wore a two hundred flour bag. He cut a hole in the bottom and in each side and he pulled it down on himself.
