  1. Food in the Olden Times
    Before the famine oaten-meal was eaten for every meal, and after the famine it was yellow-meal. They used to work two hours before the breakfast and then go in and get their breakfast of yellow-meal. Then they would go out to their work again. They would get the same thing again for the dinner and the same thing again for the supper. Later on in the years they began to gor potatoes and then they had potatoes for every meal. Three meals a day they used to take. They
