- St. Patrick's Stone in LankillWhen St. Patrick was coming from Aughawor he came through Greevys land in Lankill and he found a well. He said Mass at it and he knelt on a stone and he left the track of his knee on a stone and the track ofhis knee is still there. There is an alter built of stone above the well. Lord Sligo's men came there one day with and went to take a mighty big stone off the altar and as soon as they were to take it a bell began to ring under it and they left it there.
