  1. Suffering During Famine
    There was a man in the parish of Fahey in eighteen forty seven and he was very poor. He used to go out begging his neighbours to give him something to eat. Sometimes he used not be able to go as far as his neighbours for something to eat, and some one would go to see how he was and then they would give him somehting. He would be all right for a few days.
    It happened however that no one went into him for a few days. At last one man went to the house to see how
