  1. I am in the seventh class. I am in at a quarter to ten every morning. Some are before me and others after me. The lessons start at ten o'clock.
    The first subject is Arithmetic and I do as many sums as I am able in the half-hour.
    The next subject is Irish reading and then composition in English and Irish every second day.
    The next subject is Catechism. Last year we did all the Catechism and the last part of the Bible. Then we go out to play.
    Next comes English reading, on three days, geography on one, and Arithmetic on the remaining day.
