  1. The Fairs.

    About a century ago the people of this parish had not far to bring their cattle to a fair for there used to be fairs about a quarter of a mile from te village of Crusheen in a place called Brodac.
    There were faction fights in it a few times and a man was nearly killed at each fight and from that time on no fairs were held there.
