  1. There are many feasts in the year. Saint Bridgets feast falls on the first of February. Long ago the people used make a cross in honour of Saint Bridget. It was a small cross made of timber.
    Saint Patricks feast is on the 17th of March. St. Patrick is the patron Saint of Ireland. Everybody wears a shamrock on that day in honour of Saint Patrick. When Saint Patrick was trying to convert the people of Ireland
