    Council.The gate men know when the anmails are sold or not.The mark which the buyer put on the animal show them ,some ,some buyers mark the animal with a stick of paint more with a sissors by cuting the anmails back.They used to say that they would have no luck if they met a woman with red haired(gowing) going to the fair ,and they would turn back and go home.
