Four-leafed shamrock, much sought after, suppsoed to bring luck. Saw my mother & she had only to walk out & she could pick them up. Did it on one occasion for a Limerick visitor to his very great joy. - Greatest time for matchmaking. Some say - "What's bound in spring is loosened in autumn"
