    Feasts of the year.
    On the eve of Saint Bridgets day the first of February it was an old custom for the children to dress up a "Brighid óg"and then go from house to house collecting money.They usually had a great feast on St.Bridgets day. On Shrove Tuesday night the people make pancakes.On chalk Sunday the boys and girls who dont get married in Shrove are chalked.
    On Saints John's night bonfires are lit .On
