All the lakes are sources of rivers and these rivers flow into the Threenog. One of the lakes knowas a Lough Coughlin is supposed to be enchanted. It is said that a ship was seeing floating on its waters, some nights long ago. There are lots of fish in the lakes. In the year eighteen hundred and thirty-nine a big storm arose, nothing ever since was witnessed since it. The perch and pike were east up on the bank about a hundred yards. there is a small island in another of the lakes, there are many foxes in it at present.
