    When he reached his home he sat down on a chair, and he was still laughing. His wife did not know what was the matter with him, and she said, "You ould strellahan shut up laughing," but this seemed to have no effect on the man.
    At last his wife was getting frightened, and ran out for the neighbours. when they came in they all tried to stop him from laughing, but it was in vain. He kept on laughing until about four o'clock in the morning about the time when the cock crew. The men in the lake had cast a spell on him.
