    him and he had to leave the land and go begging. A while after that he went into a house in Aughamore and he began telling the story to man of the house. There was a child in the cradle and as soon as he had the story told the child in the cradle sat up and asked him to pull the knife out of (?) side. He did and it was the same knife he stuck in the horse's side. The child told him then to get three stones and to throw each of them in as far as he could in the lake. He threw in the first stone and he threw the second one in further and he threw the third
