    horses sprang up from under it. At the same time the dog had seven pups. They got the seven pups. Then they got up on their horses, and rode away from the devil's house. The dog followed them, and they gave her one pup and she went home with it. She followed them again, and they gave her another pup. They gave her another pup every time she followed them. When they were at the man's house they gave the dog her last pup. The boy and girl got married and they lived happily ever after. The dog never troubled them again.
