  1. There once lived a lot of Irish boys who worked on a farm. They lived in a big house which they had bought for a year.
    They used to go to bed at about ten o'clock every night. Every night a two o'clock they used to hear a nose opening the doors and shutting them again.
    One of the boys said he would stay up some night and see what was making the noise. This night he stayed up and at two o'clock he lighted a candle.
    At last he heard a noise and he saw the Priest coming up the room dressed in white clothes.
