  1. A Story
    There once lived in Carragolda a man and his brother.
    Their name's were Tom; and Pat. Deacy. One evening Pat went to Kiltimagh on a message walking. It was dark when he was coming home.
    When he came as far as the stage he saw a lot of people standing there. He stood up and started thinking how he would get home.
    He said that he would try to pass them. As he was passing by the fairies they asked him why was he out so late.
    He could not say anything with the fear. At last the fairies said to him. "It will not be long until you die"
