  1. Once upon a time there lived in this townland a man named Micheal Clarke. He used to go to all the dances that he would hear of.
    One night when he was coming from a dance in the barra-golda he saw a fire in the middle of the road. When he reached the fire he took up a cole and he lighted his pipe with it.
    When he was passing up by the old grave-yard he saw an old woman coming out of it. The woman walked to the stage with him.
    Then she turned back and he went home. Next day he told his story to the neighbours who said that he should speak
