  1. Once upon a time there lived two boys in the townland of Carrowcastle. They were in the habit of going to a certain house every night card playing.
    One night when they were coming home they saw twelve lighted candles and a pack of cards on a gold table before them on their path.
    They saw nobody at first but in a few minuted they saw a man coming towards them who asked them to play cards with him.
    They agreed to do so and they sat on the golden chairs and started
