  1. There once lived in Carragolda a man named Tom Deacy.
    One night as he was coming home from his visit he saw a white dog on the side of the road.
    He did not think of any ghost at all until the dog began to cry as loudly as he could. Tom thought then that it was a ghost and he began to run as fast as he could and the dog took another form and ran after him.
    When he reached Tom he was changed into a man with fire coming out of his mouth. He very nearly died with fright and he
