  1. Once upon a time there lived in the parish of Straide a boy named John Kelly and his mother.
    One night when John was coming home from a dance he met a crowd of fairies who brought him to a fort.
    When he was inside in the fort he saw a great deal of people who had been dead for a long time.
    In about a half an hour two more fairies came in who gave him a glass of wine. Then they sent another man to the boys house.
