  1. A man named Thomas Connor in Ballymiles was married to a girl in Ardacarra. They were not long married when his wife died.
    After she died he used to go to her people visiting in a horse and car. One night when he was coming home at the old graveyard his wife jumped up on the car where she stayed up until she came to the stage. Then she jumped off.
    When he got home he began to think about it and he said she might want something done for her.
    The next night he went
