  2. Long ago the people used to do a lot of mischief one one another at Hallow E'en. One of their tricks was to get a kale stalk and cut a hole up the inside of it and put tow in one end of the stalk. Then they dropped in a red cinder and put more tow in the other end then the held one end to the keyhole and blew through the other end
