  2. 2. Joan Kelly, Lissnacody, Eyrecourt, Co. Galway. Age 11 years.
    There was a castle in Lissnacody in the olden times which belonged to Pollock. There is said to be a tunnel going from that castle over through our field which is filled with gold. Several people went to look for it but failed to find it. The ruins of that castle can be seen to this day.
