  1. A Song

In the south side of Mullagh Castlenancy doth lie,

In the south side of Mullagh Castlenancey doth lie
And in that nice village I found comfort and joy
No grumble no frown no hunger no thirst
But welcome sit down and eat til you burst
And nigh Gurtymadden though built in a lane
It is in that nice village I'd like to remain
Lodgings and money they are wililing to give
And when they are insulted they are sure to forgive
Though Nancy died long ago and the castle fell too
God send there a blessing and himself is there too
To shine over Cappy to pray for the latter
Saying poor Cappy village I wish y ou were better
