  1. Holy Wells are very numerous in this country. In nearly every Parish there are two or three.
    In this Parish there is a holy-well and it is called St Brigid's well. It is in the townland of Greaghfarna. People visit this well every year to get the cure of the tooth-ache and they say that St Brigid's foot print is in the bottom of the Well.
