  1. There was a man who was afraid passing the graveyard at night and another man who knew it wanted to give him a fright. So one night he got a sheet and put it around him and sat on the graveyard pier. After a while he heard the man coming. The man saw the ghost on the pier and said "The Cross of Christ be about us," "I often saw one ghost but I never saw two. When the other fellow looked towards the other pier there was a ghost sitting on it too. He fell down unconscious and had to be carried home.
