    (5) A Cure for a Pain in the Ear
    If you have a pain in your ear get a piece of cotton wool and dip it in olive oil or castor oil. Put it in your ear when you are going to bed. In the morning the pain will be gone.

    (6) A Cure for a Burn
    Anyone who ever licked a man-keeper has a cure for a burn. This man has only to lick the burn to cure it.

    (7) A Cure for Headache
    If anyone who has a headache plucks the tops off peppermint and scents them the headache will soon get better

    (8) A Cure for Anaemia
    Get a sheep's liver and fry it well. Then grind it up into powder and take some of it each day

    (9) A Cure for Warts
    On your travels if you chance to see a stone with a hole in it and water in the hole, dip your finger in the water, make the sign of the cross three times, and the warts will soon disappear
