    1. The cure for the warts is to put a black worm on them every Monday and Thursday for nine mornings.
    2. The cure for the cold is to bathe your feet in hot water and mustard or washingsoda and to rub a peice of fat bacon on your chest then put a slip of brown paper over it, in case the person might get cold.
    3. Cure for the whooping cough is to get a cut of bread from a husband and wife of the of the same name and eat it, and to leave out a drop of milk for a ferret to drink and what - ever he leaves after
