  1. Once upon a time when Rucker Drury was travelling through Dublin, he came to a side street containing poor miserable houses.
    Just as he was passing along a woman put her head out a window and said "These houses are only like stables. They are not like the fine house I lived in when I was a girl". "True for you, ma'am, said Rucker Drury. Sure anyone can tell they are stables when they see an ass's head sticking out the window".
