    little hole, lie to the west of the parish.
    Tieraclea (Tír an tsléibe) is to the east. A field in this mountainous country is still known as "The Tilery". Here bricks or tiles were formerly made.
    Kilmurley (Cill Mhuirthille) has the ruins of an old church where unbaptised infants were buried.
    Shanaway (Sean bhotha) reminds us of the "old huts".
    In Tarmons (Tearmann) "sanctuary" land in the Penal times. Near here is Barn na Sagart.
    Dooncaha (Dún catha) was the scene of battles, as its name denotes.
    In Doonard (Dún árd) is a large high fort.
    Farranawana (Fearann an bháin) is the farm of pasture land.
