  1. There are many classes of people in this district. We have the common tinker with the blue butt and pony. This class generally put up at a farmer's expense.
    Then we have the Sheridan type who make a living by dealing in old horses. In other times we used to have a plentiful supply, of the Coffey breed breed but nearly all the male section were Killed in the great war.
    The gypsies are the most noted of all these classes; they come in large numbers and stay for a week camped in caravans at sheltered places.
