- There a lot of games that children play for pastime such as skipping, playing marbles, playing ball and many other ones. People do not play those as much in the country as in the towns. Children used also play with daisies. They would make necklaces with them. They would get a thread and put the daisies on it and then tie the thread. They used also play with a plant called a soldier. Two people would get them and start hitting each other's soldiers with them. Who ever would break the most soldiers would win.
