- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)had a large rectangular frame with holes in it which formed the shape of the basket.
Much skill was required in placing the rods and he had to make sure that no two rods started from the same place because if this happened it would make a weak place in the basket. The first two rods had to be twisted in the form of a rope, so as to keep the rods from scattering when taken off the frame. The last two rods had to be twisted in the same manner, and to make the basket strong there were another two rods twisted round the middle of the basket.
