    51. In the morning if the mist come down the mountain it's a sign of rain. But if it goes back out the mountain it's a sign of good weather.
    52. If you see curlews flying about a river it foretells rain.
    53. If a horse or an ass stands with his back to the wind it indicates storm.
    54. Cemented floors get damp before rain.
    55. When a person's corns begin to get sore rain may be expected.
    56. If there is a fall of snow and all the snow melts everywhere but in a few spots it's a sign that the snow will remain in these few spots till more snow comes.
