daisies to make daisy-chains. On a long bright Summer's day a crowd of us gather together and make daisy chains in great glee. We put a long hole at the end of the stem and put in another daisy and keep on adding daisies until the chain is made.
Tas Balls are made from cowslips on a string. You break the stems and put the cowslips on a string and then tie them in a bundle together and you can play ball up in the air.
The boys make tops from empty spools. They pare one end of a spool and then they get a nail and hammer it into the spool and the top is completed
